Are you ready for the second installment of the Homesteader Christmas Gift series?? If you missed it, last time I shared my gift list for the ladies. Today I’m rolling out some Christmas gift ideas for the homesteading men in your life. I brought my husband on board to help on this one. With the addition of his expertise, I think you’ll find some great gift ideas here!
Christmas Gifts For Manly Homesteaders
Now, I know this one isn’t as cool as the purple knife I listed for the ladies, but I’ve been told that the homesteadin’ dudes probably would prefer this knife. Strong, durable, and at 4.6 inches this knife will easily handle nearly any job while you’re out working on your homestead for years to come. Oh, and it’s NOT purple;)
The coffee or tea drinker on your homestead will love this! These are great because they are covered! You can take this around outside with you as you walk from chore to chore in the cold mornings, without worrying about anything getting in your drink….maybe I should have put this on the list for the ladies too!
3.) Hunting boots
I’ve yet to come across a homesteader who didn’t adore their Bogs. My hubby is a hunter, and I think a lot of homesteading guys are too. And while these boots are specifically for hunting, they could definitely be used around the homestead as well. I think these would be a winner for any homesteading/hunting guy on your Christmas list.
4.) Shave set
Did ya know? The old fashioned shave set is making a come back. Yup. Homesteading or not, any guy on your Christmas list will probably thank you for this one. A quality shave is apparently pretty hard to come by these days, and so guys all over are throwin’ it back to the old shave set and loving it.
Have you seen these before?? The prepper on your list will probably love this. LifeStraws filter out more than 99.99% of bacteria and parasites. You can literally stick this thing in to a stream and take a drink straight from it! Very very cool for a bug out bag, camping, hunting, or fishing. Your outdoors loving man will love this one.
Is this little flashlight a surprise? I’m endlessly surprised at the love men have for a good flash light! This tiny little thing only needs one AA battery, it’s waterproof, has a clip, and it’s super bright at 300 lumens (I don’t actually really know what the significance of the lumens are, but I know it really matters to the HusbandMan!). Not unlike a pocket knife, moments when you need a flashlight pop up all the time. So this mini flashlight fits the bill for practicality and meets the cool factor too!
