With two new methods to line dry our laundry (here, and here), I’ve been giving our dryer a serious vacation. And I love it! But that’s not to say that there hasn’t been a learning curve involved. So to finish up what has become a little Laundry Series, I thought I’d share some tips I’ve discovered that work for me.
Fabric Softener Recipe Round-up:
Citrus-Herb Fabric Softener
Lavender Fabric Softener
Lemon Fabric Softener
Epsom Salt Fabric Softener (this isn’t vinegar based, but in my researching I found variants of this frequently, so I thought it should be added to the list. If you try it let me know how it works!)
Make or buy yourself a clothespin apron. It makes things a little easier, and mine is super cute so I love to wear it. I made mine based on the pattern found in One-Yard Wonders, and I love it. The pattern in One-Yard Wonders is simple and you can probably check the book out from the library.
Do you have any tips to add?? Please share in the comments!
